The principle
The work is the measure. The woman is the story.
The four working recognition titles describe different forms of contribution and acknowledgment. They do not rank women against one another, and contribution areas are separate from title levels.
Four expressions of recognition
An honour with depth.
Not a popularity contest. A considered view of contribution, continuity and consequence.
The highest proposed distinction, intended for exceptional and sustained contribution. Its planned process includes enhanced evidence review and board ratification.
Intended for posthumous recognition of an enduring contribution. Historical verification, appropriate image rights and family or estate outreach where relevant form part of the proposed approach. Editorial tributes alone do not confer this title.
A future community-selected recognition. Any voting release will require its own eligible shortlist, published rules, opening and closing times, safeguards and result-validation process. It will remain separate from panel-controlled distinctions.
